Get to know us

We are a group of 11 women, brought together by a shared desire to honour the women who raised, shaped, and inspired us—our mothers. Each of us carries a different story, but within those stories are common threads: love, strength, pain, forgiveness, laughter, and the quiet wisdom passed down from one generation to the next.

Lessons from Mom was born from that sacred space—the one where memory meets healing, and storytelling becomes legacy.

Some of us are mothers ourselves. Some are daughters still learning. Some are grieving. Some are just beginning to understand the depth of what our mothers gave us. But all of us wrote from the heart, offering pieces of our lives in the hope they might resonate, comfort, or simply remind you: you are not alone.

This book is a tribute not just to our moms, but to all women who mother in every form that takes.
